Alain a eu l’occasion de faire une exposition solo, inspirée d’oeuvres classiques et surtout des grands du Jazz à Papeete, Tahiti. Cette expérience a été quasi mystique car il s’agissait de peindre en écoutant les morceaux correspondant aux œuvres peintes. Il lui fallut se plonger dans un état de transe afin de transmettre à travers le mouvement, à travers la ligne, à travers la couleur, la respiration musicale. En effet en musique comme en peinture l’artiste crée sa propre calligraphie et celle-ci prend forme quand corps et esprit jouent à l’unisson.

Alain had the opportunity to exhibit solo in Papetee, Tahiti, a series of paintings based on music, especially jazz. This experience proved quite mystical as the paintings were produced while listening to the corresponding piece. Each stroke of the brush, each colour was a translation of the musical tempo, of its expression. Indeed in music as in painting the artists develops its own calligraphy. This happens when body and soul work in unison.
